I get this feeling all the time, especially when Im trying to show someone how to use a computer. . .
Im the Teachers Assistant in a Web Page Design class, and most of the people in the class use their home computers for either homework, chatting, or video gaming.
Im trying to show someone how to animate something quick in Macromedia Flash, and they dont understand the concept of Layers and Indepent objects. .
I must be some sort of genius or something, cuz all these things that I believe are just simple common sense, seem to utterly confuse most people. Including the teacher.
Even My sister, who doesnt know as much as I when it comes to using a computer, doesnt cease to amaze the Teacher.

anyway, enough ranting, You can tell that I just replicated one drawing for the background. . .
Double-gradient Cel Shading again. . .
plus that my guy is using a CRT monitor and the rest are using FlatPanel LCD displays, which they dont deserve. . .
Done in only two hours due to its simplicity. . .

i can symathise there, as in my first year at university we got rushed through classes on photoshop and illustraitor, and i seemed to be the only one who picked up anything..and spent half the classes explaining to the others just how to set up a clean page to draw on. ox;

Oh I know how you feel. I'm no TA, nor have I worked with anything like a flash player. But in my computer classes, I'm one of the rare few who really know what to do at all.

Here here, I know just how that feals. My siblings can't even hook up av ports or open microsoft word for crying out loud

Reminds me of my computer class. Lots of teens who can post hundreds of messages on MySpace with tons of bells and whistles, but don't know how to format a page in Word.

Reminds me of the media arts class at our school. It turns out that it is really easy to make someone type "Format C:\" in the right place.

This was interesting. XD; maybe they just don't use a computer a lot.. ^^; I'd like to say I've felt that way but there's tons of smart people in my class now.. = p
